About The Position

The Avionics Systems Installer is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the avionics and electrical systems in various aircraft. These tasks include the removal and installation of avionics components and fabrication and installation of wiring harnesses.

Requirements

• Must possess the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Owns basic hand tools to complete work (list will be provided)
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, modifications, and integration of various avionics systems and associated equipment in accordance with OEM installation manuals, drawings, and other approved data.
• Build, routing, and terminating wire harnesses in accordance with supplied data
• Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of work
• Accurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
• Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
• Meets or beats flat rates for assigned tasks
• Understands and follows safety procedures, and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work
• Responsible for completing training syllabus for advancement to next level
• Performs other duties as directed
