About The Position
The position involves avionics engineering in support of avionics subsystem definition, development, integration, and verification methods. Responsibilities include reviewing ICDs, sustainment, modeling/simulation, test and evaluation, and airworthiness certification across various hardware and software systems. The role supports Aircraft Information Management Systems (AIMS) requirements, testing, certification, and spectrum management. The candidate will utilize knowledge of Communications, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) requirements to define compliance matrices and support testing and certification of aircraft systems. The position also requires participation in technical reviews, assessments of program-specific databases, and providing technical advice on hardware and software installations. The candidate will assist in translating user requirements into system requirements for weapons systems and support the development of technical documents and evaluations.
