About The Position

The Avionics Electrician position involves working in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment, focusing on the maintenance and repair of firefighting and heavy lift utility helicopters, specifically the Boeing CH-47 airframes. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in aircraft electrical wiring and avionics repair.
• Experience repairing structures of CH-47 airframes preferred.
• A&P license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, fabricate parts as necessary, reassemble, install, and document maintenance actions on heavy-lift helicopters.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform assigned tasks.
• Clean and inspect components and aircraft wiring installations for damage and wear using visual examination and special tooling and equipment.
• Replace or repair damaged or worn component parts and wiring using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Assemble components and wire harnesses using the same tools and equipment.
