About The Position

Aviation Systems Administrator The Opportunity: Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. You’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. You will keep positive change moving in the system while keeping an eye on compliance, service level commitments, and technical debt. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience working with aviation systems. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in a systems administrator role in a secure federal environment
  • Experience developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • Experience automating CI/CD pipelines with tools, such as GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
  • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning tools
  • Experience with configuration management tools
  • Experience working with application development teams across the software development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience hosting applications on commercial Cloud providers
  • Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms and tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
  • Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues for both open-source and commercial tools in public Cloud environments
