About The Position

Global Elite Group is seeking an Aviation Security Officer to join our team at Boston Logan International Airport. Our unarmed security officers play a crucial role in homeland security, safeguarding infrastructure, and ensuring seamless and secure operations in one of the busiest airports in the country. This position involves working closely with airport and government agencies to maintain compliance with local and federal regulations. Officers will be trained for various posts, focusing on aircraft access control, ramp access control, aircraft searches, baggage security, catering security, and passenger verification. The role requires a commitment to excellence and a dedication to providing exemplary customer service while ensuring the safety of travelers.

Requirements

• Must obtain Airport Badging and pass an extensive background check including criminal, employment, credit, education, and personal references.
• Must pass a Security Threat Assessment administered by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States upon hire.
• Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Must pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams as administered by Global Security and Airport Authority.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure only authorized personnel enter the aircraft while on the ground.
• Provide AOA access control and safety oversight while aircraft is on the ground.
• Meticulously search all areas of the aircraft according to company and federal regulations.
• Surveillance of bag room and baggage make-up area to prevent theft or pilfering.
• Provide surveillance at the catering kitchen and ensure catering equipment is not tampered with during transit.
• Verify passenger identification and ensure they are authorized to board flights.
