Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. BLADE is a rapidly growing global air mobility platform utilizing a technology-powered, asset light model with unrivaled brand recognition. Blade is focused on efforts to assist the aviation industry in order to accelerate its transition from conventional aircraft to quieter, cleaner Electric Vertical Aircraft (“EVA”), expand new air mobility routes, grow our network of captive passenger infrastructure, and continue to develop our consumer-to-cockpit technology stack. Overview Joby Aviaiton is seeking an Aviation Safety Analyst to support BLADE Aviation Mobility safety programs and Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives for our New York regional operations. Supporting the Corporate Safety team and Flight Operations leadership, this role will support identifying operational risks and strengthening mitigation processes across our contracted helicopter and seaplane networks. The Analyst will drive safety performance by reviewing incident reports, performing trend analysis, and managing emergency response frameworks. By conducting rigorous investigations and contractor oversight, this position ensures that Blade’s operations remain at the forefront of aviation safety and regulatory compliance. This is a temporary, full-time position with the potential of moving to full time after 6 months.
