Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program
8+ years of civil engineering experience, with 5+ years in aviation
Texas PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Proven ability to lead design teams and manage project delivery
Strong technical knowledge of aviation design fundamentals
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel across North Texas (typically day trips)

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and deliver aviation projects from concept through construction – airfield design, pavement engineering, utilities, terminals, and more
Oversee production teams, quality assurance, and financial performance
Focus on innovative design and technical excellence
Coordinate with airports, airlines, FAA, and stakeholders across North Texas
Handle construction administration, grant management, and multi-disciplinary coordination
Build and maintain strong client relationships across the region
Support business development efforts to expand our Dallas presence
Contribute to proposal development and capture strategies
Represent RS&H at regional industry events
Mentor junior staff and build leadership skills
