About The Position

To Provide Communication And Leadership To Amts. Facilitate Safe And Efficient Routine And Non-Routine Aircraft Maintenance. Work With Amts To Minimize Aircraft Delays, Cancellations And Oos Impacts. Execute The Maintenance Plan. Monitor Progress Relative To Schedules And Company Standards. Resolve Exceptions Within Their Designated Span Of Control.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma / G.E.D Required
Current A&P Licenses Is Required
Must Be Able To Obtain A/C Run & Taxi Certification On Applicable Company Equipment
Current Knowledge Of Fedex A/C Maintenance Programs, Fedex Systems, Operations Specs & Applicable Portions Of The Far
Ability To Read, Understand And Utilize Mx Manuals, Ipc, Wiring Diagrams, Structural Repair Manuals, Etc
Ability To Work Odd Work Weeks, Rotating Shifts And Accept Mx Road Trips
Ability To Use Applicable Test Equip, And Support Equip For Their Intended Purpose And To Identify Malfunctions In Them
Must Be Able To Lift & Maneuver Heavy A/C Related Components, Parts & Equipment
Subject To Regulatory Alcohol & Drug Testing Which Incl. Testing For Marijuana, Pcp, Amphetamines, Cocaine & Opiates
A Valid, Non-Restricted Driver'S License From The State Of Residence Is Required
In Order To Be Eligible For A Lead Position, The Sr. Amt Must Have One (1) Year Continuous Experience At The Station Or Location Of Responsibility Immediately Prior To Bidding (Per Ameh)

Advanced Avionics Repair background preferred PER AMEH 3-0 2 A (13) the candidates that are interested in bidding will have an Awareness Interview. This will be used only to have the interested candidates become aware of what will be expected if they dec ided to accept an offer to the shop. This is not PASS or FAIL, nor will there be any judgement of the work performed by the candidates. This will be a guided exploration of what type of work is expected to be learned once in the shop.
