This mechanic will be required to troubleshoot systems, conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft systems and components, including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. Mechanic will apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and airworthiness. They will apply required expertise in restoring aircraft to airworthy condition by interpreting technical documents, such as manufacturer's manuals, Airworthiness Directives and Technical Bulletins. Performs daily aircraft maintenance for aircraft at their home base and satellite locations. Schedules, coordinates, and completes scheduled maintenance and inspections in a timely manner. Documents, maintains, and completes aircraft records in accordance with FAA and Intermountain requirements. Tracks aircraft inspection, component due times, and completion of tasks in computer database. Responsible to maintain company-owned special tools and equipment in good working order. Ensures calibration requirements are met. Assists as requested in the transport of equipment and supplies. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends and new developments in the aviation field.
