Requirements

Part 65 Airframe & Powerplant (FAA) certification
At least 2 years of aviation maintenance experience
US Driver's License
Must be able to read and write English language
Broad knowledge of engine hardware and flight line operations/procedures
Experience with the safe operation of heavy equipment and ground support equipment around aircraft
Adherence to DOT and FMCSA requirements which includes FAA drug & alcohol testing pool
Travel 5 to 8 nights per month. In particular, the ability to travel regionally for occasional overnight work assignments, and also one regular monthly 5-day/4-night customer assignment.

Responsibilities

Perform on-wing engine washes using mobile wash equipment
Operate and maintain mobile wash units and service center tools and vehicles
Conduct daily inspections, maintenance, and repair of service center tools and equipment
Follow all flight-line safety procedures to ensure professional and timely operations
Collaborate with airline and military maintenance personnel to meet customer requirements and resolve in-service issues
Accurately document all maintenance activities in compliance with FAA regulations
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service center processes
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs for wash equipment and facility assets
Drive small DOT-regulated service trucks to customer locations throughout the region
