About The Position

The Aviation Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on Company operated aircraft, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies. The role involves working on EC130s and requires a commitment to safety and operational readiness while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 2 to 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active/current FAA A&P License required.
  • Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
  • Experience with FAR 135 operations preferred.
  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and vibration-balancing.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and composite repair procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as 337's, Service Bulletins, and AD's.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and experience with RAMCO preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with rotor aircraft maintenance.
  • Familiarity with the company's ERP system (Ramco).

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Verify part numbers and serial numbers match associated documentation upon installation or removal of components.
  • Execute all aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company's Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area.
  • Correct compliance or safety issues as directed by management.
  • Advise the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service.
  • Validate data in the Status Report concerning the aircraft being worked on.
  • Request aviation parts and supplies to maintain an adequate inventory for prompt repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
