About The Position

The Aviation Maintenance Planner/Coordinator at the Port of Seattle is responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance work for aviation assets and facilities. This role involves collaborating with shop managers and union maintenance teams to ensure efficient use of resources, facilitating work management meetings, and maintaining data integrity in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo). The position requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively liaise between shops and customers, analyze maintenance activities, and support process improvements.

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience in planning and scheduling work activities.
• One (1) year of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Associate's Degree in Business (desired).
• International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certification (desired).
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Effective presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with a commitment to customer service.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Maximo CMMS.
• Certification in facility management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AVM shop managers and union maintenance shops to plan and coordinate crew maintenance work.
• Facilitate weekly work management team meetings to discuss upcoming work and identify challenges.
• Ensure data integrity on work orders in Maximo in partnership with shop management.
• Act as a liaison between shops and customers to coordinate, plan, and schedule maintenance work.
• Gather job requirements and walk job sites with shop managers and foremen for planning and scheduling.
• Triage and process maintenance customer service requests.
• Provide training and support to shop foremen on maintenance planning and scheduling software.
• Analyze preventive maintenance work activities and assist in creating job plans.
• Lead and participate in process improvement efforts.
