The Aviation Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of the aviation maintenance program. This role ensures aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and cost efficiency while complying with all applicable FAA, manufacturer, and company requirements. The Aviation Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance duties of a company owned King Air 200 and Challenger 300. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions: Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission. Maintenance Management Direct and oversee all aircraft maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, modifications, and overhauls. Ensure all aircraft are maintained in an airworthy condition in compliance with FAA regulations (e.g., FAR Parts 91 or 135). Strict adherence to manufacturer maintenance schedules. Develop and manage maintenance programs, inspection schedules, and reliability programs. Perform Regulatory Compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact for the FAA and other regulatory authorities including letters of authorization. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal aviation regulations, airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins, and manufacturer recommendations. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logbooks, and documentation. Budget & Cost Control Develop and manage the maintenance budget. Negotiate and manage contracts with maintenance vendors, MROs, and parts suppliers. Monitor costs related to parts, labor, tooling, and warranty recovery. Fleet & Asset Management Oversee aircraft lifecycle management, including acquisition, entry into service, and retirement. Evaluate aircraft maintenance performance and reliability trends. Manage inventory, tooling, and parts programs. Assist the Director of Aviation on aircraft fleet issues or changes. Operational Support Coordinate maintenance activities to support flight operations and minimize downtime. Provide technical guidance to flight crews and management. Travel with aircraft to scheduled/unscheduled maintenance events at selected service centers. Present for aircraft arrivals and departures as directed by Director of Aviation. Performs pre and post flight inspections as per the manufacturer’s direction at these times. Perform line service duties in lieu of regular line service staff on a limited basis to include fueling, movement, and all other duties associated with line service. Within 6 months of employment become taxi qualified in the Challenger 300 and King Air 200, able to move the aircraft solo at will. Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
