About The Position

The Lead Agent at Trego/Dugan Aviation is responsible for overseeing and participating in the operations of Customer Service Agents (CSA) and Ground Operations Agents (GOA) for both contracted commercial flights and charter aircraft. This role includes managing passenger check-in, security screening, baggage transfers, and ensuring compliance with FAA and TSA regulations. The Lead Agent also trains new employees, coordinates with airline personnel, and maintains operational records.

Requirements

• 1-year experience in the aviation industry, with at least six months as an airline service agent.
• Thorough working knowledge of the aircraft used at the station and current FAA/TSA security directives.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and obtain necessary certifications within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and participate in CSA/GOA operations for contracted commercial flights and charter aircraft.
• Direct and train assigned CSA/GOA Services Agents, including new employee training and ongoing in-service training.
• Maintain required training records and implement departmental policy for CSA/GOA Services operations.
• Advise the Manager/Supervisor on policy issues and develop more efficient methods of operations.
• Coordinate CSA/GOA Services activities with air carrier personnel, station managers, and TSA representatives.
• Participate in the operation and training of various types of ground equipment.
• Ensure ground equipment is maintained in good working order at all times.
• Ensure compliance with FAA and TSA security regulations and airline corporate rules.
• Prepare and submit verbal and written reports on ground service activities and Agents as required.
• Coordinate communications between the Airport, airline dispatch personnel, and flight captain.
