About The Position

We are looking for an Aviation Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing and advancing solutions tailored for government and military clients, all in support of aviation safety initiatives. Our team is dedicated to analyzing global aeronautical data
to create precise and timely Enroute navigation charts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in GIS Mapping Software (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS and/or QGIS).
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
• Experience working remotely.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Background in piloting, navigating, flight planning, or navigation systems.
• College degree in geography, cartography, geographic information systems, aviation, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience with GIS Mapping Software.

Responsibilities

• Utilize established processes and tools to create and maintain geospatial assets that drive our mission forward.
• Ensure that all assets meet stringent regulatory and contractual requirements, playing a vital role in our commitment to excellence.
• Proactively seek clarification on any source or specification ambiguities.
• Conduct thorough quality control checks to uphold the highest standards of data integrity and reliability.
• Collaborate effectively with a remote team, leveraging technical guidance from senior members while embracing new software and adapting to evolving workflows.
