About the position
Pilot-In-Command operates the company aircraft Gulfstream V in a Part 91 operation. The position will serve to ensure the airworthiness and safe operation of the company aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Vericast and applicable Federal Aviation regulations.
- Directs the activities of the Second-In-Command and ensures that all crew members understand fully and completely what duties they are expected to perform.
- Assists with the passenger seating and luggage storage.
- Participates in the Safety Management System.
- Assumes additional duties as assigned by the Director of Aviation.
- Operates the aircraft per the Vericast Standard Operating Procedures and Checklists and within aircraft limitations.
- Will assist the Pilot-In-Command in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the Pilot-In-Command.
- Assumes additional duties as assigned by the Director of Aviation/Chief Pilot.
Requirements
- PIC SIC License ATP Type Rating Required.
- Medical First-Class.
- First-Class Flight time 5000 hours, 3000 hours Minimum.
- High school diploma required, College degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation regulations applicable to part 91.
- Must have successfully completed training programs and competency checks including Company procedures, Aircraft Type Training, Emergency Procedures Training, Aircraft Surface contamination Training, HAZ-MAT Training, Security Training, High altitude training, Crew Resource Management Training.
- Must live within one hour of the corporate office.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access or other database applications is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance processes and software is required.
- Flexibility in managing multiple competing tasks with loosely defined deliverables and rigid deadlines is required.
Benefits
- Salary: $250,000 - $280,000
