Pilot-In-Command operates the company aircraft Gulfstream V in a Part 91 operation. The position will serve to ensure the airworthiness and safe operation of the company aircraft.
Responsibilities
Ensures the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Vericast and applicable Federal Aviation regulations.
Directs the activities of the Second-In-Command and ensures that all crew members understand fully and completely what duties they are expected to perform.
Assists with the passenger seating and luggage storage.
Participates in the Safety Management System.
Assumes additional duties as assigned by the Director of Aviation.
Operates the aircraft per the Vericast Standard Operating Procedures and Checklists and within aircraft limitations.
Will assist the Pilot-In-Command in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
Maintains a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the Pilot-In-Command.
Assumes additional duties as assigned by the Director of Aviation/Chief Pilot.
Requirements
PIC SIC License ATP Type Rating Required.
Medical First-Class.
First-Class Flight time 5000 hours, 3000 hours Minimum.
High school diploma required, College degree preferred.
Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation regulations applicable to part 91.
Must have successfully completed training programs and competency checks including Company procedures, Aircraft Type Training, Emergency Procedures Training, Aircraft Surface contamination Training, HAZ-MAT Training, Security Training, High altitude training, Crew Resource Management Training.
Must live within one hour of the corporate office.
Proficiency with Microsoft Access or other database applications is highly desirable.
Familiarity with sales tax compliance processes and software is required.
Flexibility in managing multiple competing tasks with loosely defined deliverables and rigid deadlines is required.
