About The Position

Establishment of Department Pool for Affiliate/Part-time Instructors of Aviation and Aerospace Science. Qualified applicants will be placed in the departmental pool and will be considered for affiliate/part-time departmental needs. Metropolitan State University of Denver is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree plus four years of relevant work experience, or a Master’s degree plus four years of relevant experience, or Doctorate.
• FAA certification is required in order to teach aviation fundamentals, commercial and/or instrument ground and flight simulator courses.

Nice To Haves

• FAA or industry accredited certification.
• Commercial/Instrument Pilot and/or
• Basic and Advanced Ground Instructor or Certified Flight Instructor/Instrument.
