About The Position

Aviation AI & ML Engineer, Lead The Opportunity: As an experienced engineer, you know that machine learning is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support aviation safety. As a machine learning engineer on our aviation team, you’ll train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data. In this role, you’ll lead the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and introducing leading-edge technologies. You’ll share your knowledge with a large community of machine learning engineers across the company and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and aviation experts to deliver world class solutions to build a product that transforms aviation safety. Your skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
  • 7+ years of experience with model fine tuning and deployment
  • 7+ years of experience with Large Language Model (LLM) integration
  • 7+ years of experience with custom machine learning modeling, including PyTorch or scikit-learn
  • Experience with executive-level summaries and briefings
  • Knowledge of FAA operations
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various product worksteams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
