About The Position

Audubon is currently seeking an AVEVA E3D Administrator to join our team. The E3D Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of AVEVA E3D and its associated modules. This role ensures the effective deployment and optimal use of E3D across projects and disciplines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree from a technical institution preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with AutoCAD software.
  • Extensive knowledge of PDMS software, including both legacy and current versions.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and their interaction with CAD applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to CAD software and operating system compatibility.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of drafting and/or related technical experience.
  • Experience with AVEVA PDMS/E3D administration.
  • Programming or scripting experience with SQL and Microsoft Access.
  • Experience working within an engineering environment.
  • Prior designer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement 3D CAD procedures in collaboration with discipline leaders.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to E3D users.
  • Develop and maintain PDMS/E3D piping catalogs and specifications in alignment with project requirements.
  • Establish PDMS/E3D user procedures in accordance with project standards.
  • Develop and implement macros and new features within PDMS/E3D to support discipline-specific needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of various CAD software versions and Windows operating systems.
  • Support and maintain the AVEVA suite of applications in accordance with company standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and operating system issues, working with internal users and external software vendors as needed.
  • Serve in a consultative capacity to project teams by recommending innovative solutions and technologies that improve cost efficiency and schedule performance.
  • Perform data management activities including project handover and archiving.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
