The Facility Manager at the CW Avery Family YMCA in Plainfield, IL, will assist the Facility and Grounds Director in training and supervising cleaning staff to ensure that assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized effectively. This role includes overseeing cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, and trash removal, inspecting work, addressing complaints regarding maintenance and custodial services, and taking corrective actions as necessary. The Manager will also provide inventory updates of supplies and equipment, direct and assist new employees, and monitor safety and cleanliness standards. Additionally, the position involves completing Maintenance Technician duties, which include window washing, meeting setup, pool cleaning, snow removal, groundskeeping, and other related responsibilities as needed.
