Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Associate’s degree (A.A) from an accredited college or university; one to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret bar graphs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Effective presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from groups.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate audio and video equipment for concerts, presentations, promotions, and other property events.
  • Manage daily technical operations and first line maintenance for live audio and video entertainment.
  • Assist Food & Beverage team with sound and lighting during live banquets.
  • Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager on scheduling concerns, focusing on guest satisfaction.
  • Complete production set up checklists accurately and report issues to leadership.
  • Setup, operate, adjust, service, and repair AV electronic equipment, reporting issues to leadership.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on audio visual equipment according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure digital displays and televisions are on and displaying content properly.
  • Regulate fidelity, brightness, contrast, volume, and sound quality throughout the AV system.
  • Administer control panels to operate and distribute multiple audio and video sources.
  • Follow all company, safety, and security procedures, reporting maintenance problems and safety hazards.
  • Support and promote superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility.
