About The Position

The AV Tech and Production position at Sharp Healthcare involves supporting audiovisual production for events in various spaces. Requirements

• Associate's Degree in video production, multimedia, electronic communication, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in the AV industry, including customer service/end-user support roles.
• Experience with commercial AV systems in installation, support, or rental and staging.
• Hands-on experience with audio mixing consoles and video switching/production equipment.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting AV systems connected to a computer network.
• Valid Driver's License as per CA Department of Motor Vehicles requirements.

Nice To Haves

• CTS Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support event audiovisual production in all SPIEC bookable spaces or other Sharp spaces.
• Assist in project management and development of policies/procedures related to audiovisual needs.
• Serve as a tier-one escalation point for the team and customers regarding audiovisual support.
• Troubleshoot and support installed and portable audiovisual systems in person and remotely.
• Assist with the operation of video and audio production systems during live events and video recording sessions.
• Work with the events team to implement technical plans for events, providing knowledge about AV systems.
• Assist with AV equipment setup and strike for meetings and events.
• Manage multimedia files for The Sharp Experience division, ensuring accessibility and security.
• Provide support for content and layout on the Sharp University site.
