About The Position

We are looking to expand our Project Management Team with an experienced, organized, detail focus, solution-oriented, forward-thinking, customer-centric AV Project Manager to join our Brooklyn, NY office! Our Project Managers are primarily responsible for effectively managing AV projects for new construction, renovations, and equipment upgrades. Project Managers can expect to carry a project load valued at over 1 million dollars.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in AV or construction
  • Familiarity with AV system installation
  • Must be capable of working independently
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills combined with outstanding organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or CAPM certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assigns and leads project team resources for Field Technicians, Engineers, General Contractors, and Electricians
  • Must read, interpret, understand and act upon general construction documentation
  • Formulate plans for assignment, scheduling, and direction or work
  • Provide oversight of completion of installation, programming, and testing
  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Care deeply about customers’ needs and provide solutions that are uncomplicated
