About The Position

We design, integrate, and thoroughly test every AV system in-house before deployment. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience programming and commissioning AV control systems.
  • Proficiencyin at least one major control platform
  • Strong understanding of audio/video signal flow, network fundamentals, and device communication protocols (TCP/IP, RS-232, IR).
  • Ability to read and interpret system drawings, schematics, and signal flow diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Q-SYSControl Programmer
  • Experience with DSP configuration (Biamp, QSC, BSS, etc.).
  • AV-over-IP systemswith converged networks.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., C#, Python, Lua)preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on complex integrations, stepping in to guide smaller teams when needed. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills and grow into a formal management position over time.
  • Develop and program AV control systems (e.g.,QSC, Extron,Crestron, or similar platforms).
  • Configure andoptimizeaudio, video, and networked components for integrated systems.
  • Collaborate withprojectengineers, projectmanagersand customersto translate system drawings and functional intent into executable code.
  • Supporton-sitecommissioning, troubleshooting, and testing of control systems.
  • Create user interfaces and touch panel layouts that are intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Document code, system configurations, and change logs.
  • Support post-installation service, remote troubleshooting, and customer training whenrequired.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging AV technologies and programming standards.
