About The Position

This position will ensure timely delivery and pickup of audio-visual equipment. This position will support the organization by maintaining a high level of client satisfaction with the timeliness in which they receive their product and professionally handling any issues that may arise. This position will report to the Director of Logistics. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Operate company vehicles for deliveries and pickups according to applicable state and federal transportation laws. Transports loads safely and in a timely manner while obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations. Plan and complete an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day. Deliver products to correct address, maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork. Pick up equipment along the scheduled route, including company orders, and other items as requested. Load and unload goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unload empty skids and return all equipment to designated area. Interact professionally with clients, acting as a liaison for the company. Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries performed. Ensure the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to the maintenance schedule and reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to the Manager as well as performing daily safety checks. Works closely with Logistics and performs cross-functional duties with other departments. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
Hold or obtain a Class A CDL License
Pass a DOT Medical Examination
Complete Entry-Level Driver Training Test (ELDT)
3-5 years of experience maintaining a delivery route with excellent customer service
Forklift certification
Possess a clean driving record
High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

5+ years of experience maintaining a delivery route with excellent customer service
Forklift certification
Possess or be able to complete requirements for Commercial Driver’s License

Responsibilities
