About The Position

Clair Global Integration is currently looking for a skilled AV Installer to join their team! The Installers' primary role is to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain integrated audio, video, and lighting systems from predefined scope and design requirements with limited to no supervision. QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion. • Must be self-motivated with a willingness to work within a team environment with limited direction and a strong work ethic • Must be able to meet deadlines and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities • Interested in learning new skills and technologies • Requires good written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities • Must be results and detail oriented • Requires CTS certification or working towards it • Ability to interpret detailed one-line diagrams to install, calibrate and troubleshoot audio/video/lighting/IT systems without corrections • Must be able to climb and maneuver in confined spaces • Must be comfortable working on construction sites with the ability to lift fifty pounds, work off ladders and lifts, adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelines • Prefer working knowledge of audio-visual testing equipment • Must have a valid driver's license, passport and be willing to travel globally • High amount of travel working on national and international projects RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Pre-job preparation includes assembling and pre-wiring equipment racks, testing equipment at the unit level and at the subsystem and system levels • Job-site tasks include rough-in of A/V/L/IT systems consisting of pulling cables, rigging speakers, projectors, screens, etc.; setting racks, testing equipment, terminating cables, racks, wall plates and floor-boxes; aiming speaker systems, setting gain structure, converging video projectors and video walls, installation of theatrical lighting systems and associated network systems • Utilize knowledge of equipment to the functional interface level and be able to interpret detailed one-line diagrams to install, test, tune and troubleshoot audio/video/lighting/IT systems • Raise all issues with Site Supervisor • Perform simple to advanced repair and service tasks • Gather and assemble installation documentation including installation instructions and drawings, programming codes • Gather equipment, materials, tools, documents, and supplies for travel to jobsite • Assist Site Supervisor with job completion tasks including systems verification and operational manual compilation, user training, system tuning, and "walk throughs" with customer and/or customer representatives. • Troubleshooting and diagnostics
