About The Position
Maxonic, Inc. is seeking an experienced AV Engineer to support the design, buildout, maintenance, and support of audio-visual systems, particularly those centered around MS Teams. This role is crucial in enhancing the employee experience by modernizing video conferencing systems for a hybrid work environment. The AV Engineer will be responsible for ensuring secure and effective real-time collaboration across various locations, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Bellevue, Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas. The position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office each week, and offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $45 to $68 per hour on a W2 basis. The AV Engineer will support the AV environment in global offices and warehouses, driving global AV standards and handling escalated AV break-fix issues. This role involves aiding in solution design, office build-outs, and providing necessary support under a global support model. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to improving efficiency, service delivery, and the end-user experience, showcasing leadership qualities, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. The position also requires collaboration with various internal stakeholders, including Workplace and Information Security teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to AV technology implementation and support. Candidates should possess a strong background in AV engineering, particularly with MS Teams and Poly systems, along with experience in VoIP/Telephone systems such as RingCentral, Zoom Phone, or 8x8. The role demands proven IT AV support experience, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to conduct preventative maintenance. Additionally, experience with large-scale roll-outs, AV design, and managing AV integrators is essential. The AV Engineer will also be expected to demonstrate knowledge of modern AV fundamentals, network protocols, and IT administration, along with strong verbal and written communication skills for data analysis and reporting.
