  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (Electrical Engineering acceptable with mechanical systems experience)
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • 5–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, vehicle systems, or related role
  • Experience designing fluid or distributed systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems)
  • Experience supporting prototype builds, vehicle integration, or production programs
  • Experience developing fluid system architecture, schematics, and analytical models
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools (NX and/or Creo)
  • Ability to climb on/off and work in or around military vehicles
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to other facilities or military installations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Teamcenter or Vis Mockup preferred
  • Previous experience with ground combat or military vehicles preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and release fluid and distributed systems (AFES, fuel, hydraulics, pneumatics, camera cleaning, LRU cooling, bilge systems)
  • Integrate components into vehicle platforms to meet performance, safety, environmental, ballistic, and mine blast requirements
  • Perform mechanical design and analysis of components, mechanisms, mounting systems, and shock attenuation structures
  • Apply mechanics of materials, material selection, welding, and fabrication principles for complex assemblies and brackets
  • Execute tolerance stack-ups, design analysis, and engineering change documentation
  • Generate and manage material requests, shop work orders, and part tracking
  • Support prototype builds, production, and sustainment efforts, including troubleshooting and corrective actions
  • Develop and support engineering documentation including DFMEA, DVP&R, SSDD, and SRS
  • Conduct failure analysis, root cause investigations, and redesign activities
  • Oversee CAD models and drawing development (NX/Creo)
  • Present design concepts, risks, and program status to engineering leadership and customers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on vehicle integration and subsystem development
