About The Position

Reworld is a leader in sustainable waste solutions, providing innovative solutions that help customers achieve carbon-negative outcomes. The Auxiliary Operator will report to the Shift Supervisor and will be responsible for the operation and inspection of various systems and equipment, including boilers and associated systems such as fans, grates, air pollution control equipment, ash systems, and water treatment equipment. The role involves recording data on systems around the Plant, reporting equipment malfunctions, and responding to the direction of the Control Room/Supervisor to correct operating conditions. The Auxiliary Operator will also operate refuse cranes and various pieces of heavy equipment such as forklifts and front-end loaders.

Requirements

• GED/HS Diploma.
• 1-3 years previous experience with high pressure boilers and electric generating equipment or industrial process equipment as found in a refinery or chemical processing facilities.

Nice To Haves

• Water treatment/chemistry experience.
• Heavy equipment experience.

Responsibilities
