About The Position
Under the direction of the Histology Supervisor and Forensic Pathologist, maintains the laboratory morgue in all operational aspects according to NYSDOH and CAP Guidelines, Laboratory policies. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Histology, UHS Wilson Medical Center Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager. Compensation Range: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in a science related field; OR Graduate of School of Mortuary Science or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in surgical assistance at the technical level.
