About The Position

The Autopress Operator at QMC-EMI Holdings Corporation is responsible for the safe operation of automated press equipment, ensuring the quality of produced parts, and maintaining productivity. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automate Press Operator SWI (Standard Work Instruction)
• LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) certification
• Crane certification
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers
• Experience with Check Fixtures

Responsibilities

• Start up and operate the 600T press
• Set up dies in the 600T press
• Program feeder settings
• Safely use crane to load dies on bolster
• Operate press in Jog, Auto, Manual modes
• Manage Press, Feedline, Transfer, and Bolster systems
• Adjust programs on press controls and feedline
• Create traveler and bar code tags
• Load coils into the press
• Adjust die protection sensors
• Scan jobs on and off
• Set and reset parts and batch counters
• Follow Set Up Instruction Sheets (S.I.S.)
• Complete all paperwork thoroughly including Part Inspection Sheets and production tracking sheets
