The Autonomous Vehicle Service Shop Supervisor is the frontline leader who drives operational excellence and team performance on the shop floor. As a Depot Foreman, you’ll lead a team of technicians, ensuring vehicles are serviced with speed, precision, and quality while maintaining a culture of safety and innovation.. The Fleet Service Shop Foreman plans, organizes, leads and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of leadership experience in a service-focused environment (automotive expertise preferred but not required).
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Exceptional communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to uphold high standards of integrity and execution in line with company values.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including potential weekends and overtime.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite or similar tools.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of technicians to exceed service and production goals.
  • Own shop workflow, inventory management, and record-keeping to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Act as the process owner for shop activities, defining, refining, and continuously improving standards with input from technicians and the broader service team.
  • Partner with the Service Manager and key stakeholders to set and achieve targets for quality, speed, and cost aligned with business and customer needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with all safety programs, creating a culture where safety is non-negotiable.
  • Manage schedules, resolve technical and personnel challenges, and keep operations moving seamlessly.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one development conversations, driving technician growth and ensuring training requirements are consistently met.
  • Work five - 8 hours schedule on Moonlight shift (8pm - 4:30am)
