About The Position

This is a great opportunity to be part of developing cutting-edge software solutions for Nokia's telecom networks. You will work closely with a team of software engineers and fellow interns to design and implement application software and services that manage and monitor Nokia's state-of-the-art 5G networks. Your contributions will help drive a SaaS-first approach, ensuring that the technology developed by your team is both innovative and operationally efficient. Additionally, you will play a key role in validating software functionality through automated testing while gaining hands-on experience in best practices under the mentorship of a senior software architect. Your work will support Nokia's mission to advance global connectivity and network performance.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills, demonstrated through coursework and/or projects.
• Undergraduate coursework in algorithms and data structures.
• A can-do attitude towards learning new technologies and concepts.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework or prior experience with computer networking.
• Coursework or prior experience with big data technologies.
• AI/ML experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of software engineers and/or other interns/co-ops developing application software and services that manage and monitor Nokia's telecom networks.
• Operate in a SaaS-first mindset to deliver technology that will be developed as well as operated by your team.
• Develop automated tests to functionally validate the capabilities you engineer.
• Learn good design and software engineering practices under the guidance of a senior software architect.
• Understand the inner workings of Nokia's state-of-the-art 5G telecom networks that help the world act together.
