What You Will Do You play a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of autonomous equipment, monitoring fleet health in real time and coordinating proactive maintenance to support long‑term reliability. You will monitor real‑time and historical fleet health data, diagnose emerging mechanical, electrical, and autonomous control system issues, and prioritize maintenance actions based on system indicators and operational needs. You serve as a technical authority who advises operations, maintenance, OEM partners, and leadership on system performance and reliability strategy. You apply reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and predictive maintenance methodologies to autonomous fleet assets. You are responsible for implementing maintenance planning, spare parts strategy, and lifecycle management decisions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, increase availability, and improve maintenance efficiency. Analyze autonomous fleet performance data to identify patterns, recurring faults, or system improvement opportunities. Document failures, corrective actions, and learnings for future reference. Analyze system-level performance trends to anticipate failure modes and proactively mitigate risk across the autonomous fleet. You lead diagnostics and root‑cause analysis, develop fleet health standards, define KPIs, and maintain documentation to guide improvements. You also mentor personnel, uphold safety and regulatory compliance, prepare reliability and system health reports, respond to safety‑critical alerts to ensure all autonomous equipment operates within required standards, and perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring To Freeport Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 3 years combined experience in Mining, Autonomy, Reliability, Project Management, Data Analytics, Continuous Improvement and/or Data‑Driven Methodology
