About The Position
The position involves supporting and performing validation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) driving features to ensure their functionality based on Test Development Plans (TDPs). This includes the ability to suggest modifications to existing TDPs related to camera, radar, and ultrasonic sensor technologies to improve validation efficiency. The role also requires identifying deficiencies that prevent the system from functioning and accurately reporting these concerns for tracking and alignment within the company. Participation in team meetings to review project status and next steps is expected, along with supporting the creation and presentation of reports for management review. The report content varies depending on the scope of work but typically includes project status, technical advancements, trends, and competitive benchmark studies. Additionally, the role involves participating in and conducting competitive vehicle benchmarking activities, collaborating to plan and schedule evaluations, preparing vehicles, running evaluations, and reporting findings. The individual will also perform additional projects and tasks as assigned to support the overall mission, vision, and goals of HATCI and the Autonomous Development Department (ADD). At the end of the internship, the individual will provide a report to the ADD Management Team that includes a scope of activities, topics learned, contributions to achievements, and recommendations to improve the internship program.
