HATCI is seeking an Autonomous Development Intern for Summer 2026! The intern will support and perform validation of the ADAS Driving features to ensure functionality based upon Test Development Plans (TDP’s). This includes the ability to offer suggestions for modifying existing TDP’s related to camera, radar, and ultrasonic sensors technologies, to improve validation efficiency. The intern will identify deficiencies that prevent the system from functioning and accurately report these concerns for tracking and company alignment. Participation in team meetings to review project status and next steps is expected. The intern will also support the creation and presentation of reports for management review, which typically include project status, technical advancements, trends, and competitive benchmark studies. Additionally, the intern will participate in and conduct competitive vehicle benchmarking activities, collaborating to plan and schedule evaluations, prepare vehicles, run evaluations, and report findings. At the end of the internship, the individual will provide a report to the ADD Management Team that will include a scope of the activities, topics learned, how they contributed to the achievements, and provide recommendations to improve the internship program.

  • Junior or Senior undergraduate enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited college/university.
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and ethical behavior.
  • Support experienced engineers in performance of assignments that may span validation and prototype research.
  • Willingness to work in a culturally diverse team environment.
