About The Position

The Automotive Wheel Repair Technician at Dent Wizard is responsible for repairing cosmetic damages to wheels, including curb rash, peeling, and bent wheels. This role offers the opportunity for uncapped earnings and requires a hands-on approach to restoring wheels in a mobile setting. Technicians will work independently, manage their schedules, and receive comprehensive training to ensure success in their role.

Requirements

• Auto Painting Experience: Preferred but not required.
• Vision Abilities: Close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Grit: Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather.
• Organizational Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills to interact with customers.
• Manual Dexterity: Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks with precision.
• Work Ethic: Self-motivation and independence.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to kneel, bend, squat, climb, and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License: A good driving record is a must.

Responsibilities

• Fix cosmetic damages like curb rash, peeling, scrapes, gouges, oxidation, and bent wheels using the latest tools and techniques.
• Remove wheels, repair them in a mobile truck, and place them back on the vehicle.
• Paint surfaces, inspect wheels, prep and buff defects, mix colors, and finish.
