Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of prior automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
• Ability to work on all makes and models of vehicles.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong verbal communication skills to relay auto repair information to customers and other mechanics.
• Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational skills.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanically and analytically minded with physical strength and stamina to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems.
• Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems.
• Identify mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and visual inspection.
• Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately.
• Participate in manufacturer training programs to stay informed of changes in technology and processes.
