About The Position

Used Car Manager – Lead Our Pre-Owned Department in Jackson, MS! We’re building something special — a brand-new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram dealership in Jackson, Mississippi , and we’re searching for an experienced and driven Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department from day one! This is a leadership role with real influence — you’ll run our used car operations, build a high-performance team, and help shape the success and culture of a new dealership. What You’ll Do As our Used Car Manager, you’ll be responsible for: Overseeing all aspects of the pre-owned vehicle department — from acquisitions and pricing to merchandising and sales performance. Managing and growing used vehicle inventory by sourcing quality units through trade-ins, auctions, and other channels. Setting pricing strategies that maximize turn rates and profitability while staying competitive in the market. Monitoring inventory aging, profit margins, and department performance, and adjusting strategy to hit goals. Ensuring a world-class customer experience throughout the used buying process. Collaborating with Sales, F&I, Marketing, and Service to align department goals and drive overall store success. What We’re Looking For You’re a great candidate if you have: Proven leadership experience in automotive used car management or related sales leadership role. Strong understanding of used car market trends, pricing analytics, and inventory valuation tools. A track record of achieving sales targets and profitability goals . Excellent communication, negotiation, and coaching skills. Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
