About The Position

Transdev in Mays Landing, NJ is seeking an Automotive Technician to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As an Automotive Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Resume required with application submission.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least 1 year of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
• Mechanic’s toolset.
• ASE certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!).
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance inspections (PM’s).
• Complete Repairs on defects found during a PM.
• Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repairs including but not limited to brakes, suspensions, engines, and transmissions.
• Complete repairs on defects noted during daily vehicle inspections-pre-trip inspections (DVI’s).
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
