About The Position

The Technical and Sales Trainer is a key member of our Corporate Training & Support team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering technical and customer service training programs for our franchise network. Your mission is to ensure that technicians, service advisors, and managers have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to deliver exceptional service and grow their business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive repair industry, with a strong mix of technical and customer-facing roles
  • Previous experience as a trainer, service manager, or shop owner preferred
  • Solid understanding of diagnostic equipment, repair standards, and shop operations
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable training
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to support franchisees
  • ASE Certifications required

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs for automotive technicians and service advisors
  • Conduct in-person, virtual, and on-demand training sessions
  • Train franchise staff on diagnostic tools, repair procedures, service workflows, and sales techniques
  • Support new store openings with hands-on technical and sales training
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing to align training with business goals
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and technology
