About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Title Clerk to join our Accounting department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Requirements

3+ years of title clerk experience in an auto dealership or tag agency
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work Monday–Friday 8–5 with occasional overtime
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of out-of-state titles a plus
Experience with EFS Software (CVR) preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
Self-starter with a proactive approach
Exceptional customer service skills for internal and external customers
Effective communication and collaboration with team members

Responsibilities

Accurately title new, used, and wholesale vehicle sales within 10 days
Process 400–600 retail and 100 wholesale transactions in a timely manner
Prepare purchase and trade-in documentation
Contact banks to obtain lien releases and issue payoff checks
Prepare tax, title, leasing, and loan documents for submission to the DMV and tag agencies
Verify costs and transactions for each vehicle sale
Ensure all tag and title work complies with state requirements
Process wholesale billing and assist with purchases and inventory for the Used Car department
Enter sales and reporting data into DCI/morning reports
Promote positive customer service internally and externally
Provide additional administrative support as needed
