About The Position

Penske Collision Center, San Diego, is looking for an Automotive Window Tint Assistant dedicated to providing precision service to create an extraordinary customer experience! WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Ability to use the shop software system to enter, update, and verify job information before, during, and after each tint job. Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience. Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude. Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. DAY-TO-DAY Assist in preparing vehicles or glass surfaces for tint application (cleaning, drying, removing debris). Pre-cut and trim window film according to templates or the technician's direction. Help apply tint film under supervision, including smoothing out bubbles and ensuring proper adhesion. Maintain the cleanliness of tools, workstations, and the shop area. Handle film materials with care to prevent damage or contamination. Assist in removing old tint film and adhesive when needed. Communicate effectively with technicians and follow instructions accurately. Provide customer service support when necessary (e.g., picking up and moving vehicles). Help track inventory of film rolls, tools, and supplies. APPLY WITH US!   • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Automotive Technician experience or recent completion of automotive tech trade school preferred
