About The Position

All Star Automotive, part of the award-winning Hudson Automotive Group, is seeking Automotive Technicians to join their growing service teams. Hudson Automotive is a third-generation, family-owned organization and one of the fastest-growing automotive dealer groups in the Southeast U.S. The company offers stability, advancement, and strong earning potential for those starting their career. Technicians will work in modern, well-equipped shops with state-of-the-art tools and technology. The role involves performing work specified on repair orders, test-driving vehicles, diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, communicating with Service Advisors, providing time estimates for additional repairs, and executing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

  • Previous Automotive Technician Experience Required
  • Diagnostic and Repair Automotive knowledge
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Applicants must pass pre-employment testing (background, drug screen, and motor vehicle records (MVR) check)

Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
