SUMMARY: As an Automotive Technician, you must be quality-minded, hardworking and dedicated to providing the highest level of workmanship in the industry. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: This individual is to contribute to the success of the organization by effectively, efficiently and correctly repairing vehicles in a safe and timely manner while upholding the highest levels of professional integrity and achieving individual proficiency rate goals as well as our organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and electrical system, drive train and suspension skills
- Experience with basic internal engine repair and setup
- Be available to work full-time, willing to work overtime when necessary, and weekends
- Valid driver’s license with 2 or fewer moving violations
- Willingness to submit to criminal background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Ability to mount and balance tires with road force balancer
- European auto repair experience
- ASE certifications, preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing appropriate repairs
- Keeping your shop area neat and clean, and being able to account for dealership tools at all times
- Road-testing vehicles to ensure quality of repair
- Documenting work performed on repair order
