Grow Here . POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (A. A.) and six months to one-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of an automotive technology program with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician; or a minimum of 3 to 5 years as an Automotive Technician.
  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • English Proficiency.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks
  • Inspect vehicles comprehensively to detect potential mechanical or safety concerns
  • Drive vehicles to verify the effectiveness of repairs and assess overall performance
  • Replace or repair worn-out and damaged parts as needed
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of all service activities performed
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to customers
  • Keep current with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations
  • Work closely with fellow technicians, service advisors, and the location manager to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program and DOT regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
