About The Position
Are you a recent automotive tech school graduate looking to kickstart your career? Or an experienced mechanic ready for a change and a better work environment? Provide A Ride is hiring full-time Automotive Technicians to join our growing maintenance team! We offer a stable schedule, supportive environment, and opportunities to grow your skills while keeping our fleet safe and road-ready. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm (some flexibility available) Every other Saturday Pay: Competitive and based on experience
Requirements
- Valid Ohio driver’s license
- Must pass a DOT drug screen
- Previous automotive experience (school or work-based)
- Basic set of automotive tools
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, diagnostic testing, and preventative maintenance
- Complete oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct test drives to verify repairs
- Maintain accurate service records
- Keep shop equipment in good condition and stocked
