About The Position
Automotive Mechanic/ Technician (Diagnostic) Full Service Auto Repair shop has an immediate opening for an experienced Automotive Technician with a diagnostic background. We service and repair all major makes and models of European, Asian and Domestic vehicles. We serve within the Everett community along with all of Snohomish county. We offer a very competitive pay, closed Sunday's and great benefits! We are looking for a Full Time technician who is very dependable and will produce high quality repairs with attention to detail. Requirements: A current valid Driver’s License Independent & proactive, as well as a team player, with a fun and positive attitude Long term & career minded Dependable with great work ethic Good communication skills (verbally and written) Ability to work Fix or Flexible Schedule as needed, 8am to 6pm Honesty & Integrity Job Tasks: As an Experienced Technician you will be performing in these areas listed below: Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems Tires and tire repair Car heating and AC Steering and suspension Belts and Hoses Radiator and engine cooling systems Batteries, starting and charging Steering and suspension Brakes and ABS system Oil changes Check engine light Mufflers and exhaust services Visual safety and courtesy inspections Qualifications Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus State-specific auto repair certifications (ideal but not required) Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also) Join Our Team As one of the largest destinations for automotive services, Midas is dominating the industry in developing career paths and building relationships within the communities they serve.
