Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $33.56 and $39.00. The position also pays a bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit . Reasonable work schedule Paid training / mentorship and coaching State of the Art Diagnostic Equipment Great place to live - beaches, mountains Positive work environment Great benefits package includes: Health & Dental programs Paid vacation 401K retirement program Paid sick days Employee discounts Job Duties / Description: The experienced/ASE certified auto technician needs to be able to diagnose and repair all systems of the vehicle - performance/emissions, brakes, suspension/steering, HVAC, electrical, hybrid etc. Be able to adequately explain and document the diagnostics and needed repairs. Know the importance of the multi-point inspection and have the ability to communicate the multi-point inspection results and make appropriate/necessary recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of the customer's vehicle. Keeping up to date with all factory technical service bulletins and campaigns, and completing all necessary manufacturer training and all necessary safety training. Keep a clean and orderly work area (service bay), being sure area is safe. Be willing to assist other technicians / mechanics with technical activities (team player). Take ownership of the customer's experience by handling those additional assignments that allows you to leave a positive impression with the customer. Providing an exceptional customer experience to ALL customers of Marina Del Rey Toyota Applicants will be required to complete an employment application, along with additional pre-employment requirements.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years work experience at a dealership and/or independent repair facility, and minimum of 1 ASE certification.
Integrity, dependability, and commitment
Excellent work ethic / a strong desire to succeed and excel
Basic computer skills - ability to navigate various websites and software programs
Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
Background check / drug screen
Organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair all systems of the vehicle - performance/emissions, brakes, suspension/steering, HVAC, electrical, hybrid etc.
