We're on the lookout for an Automotive Technician who brings precision, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence in every task. POSITION SUMMARY Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct quality repairs efficiently, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards. Utilize diagnostic tools and special equipment to test and ensure vehicle components are functioning correctly. Perform road tests post-repair to guarantee quality workmanship. Address warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines. Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, and air conditioning. Communicate effectively with service advisors on the status of repairs, expected completion times, and any additional repair needs. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Engage in ongoing education through formal training and factory modules. Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing any concerns and providing insights into vehicle repairs. Uphold company values in all interactions with clients, team members, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to execute high-quality work promptly, even in fast-paced conditions.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, ensuring each vehicle is serviced to the highest standard.
  • Reliability, a positive outlook, and a passion for continuous learning and development in the automotive field.
  • At least 3 years of prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, with Mazda experience considered a strong asset.
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a high level of work ethic.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, squatting, standing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects.
  • A valid California driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 years of prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, with Mazda experience considered a strong asset.
